Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette Review

For my birthday my lovely boyfriend gifted me the Too Faced Cocoa Contour palette! I could not be more grateful and excited! I was in the market for a good contour palette and I had my eye on a few, but I read the best reviews on this one. My all time favorite YouTuber, Kathleen Lights, raves about this pallet and I know I can trust anything she says.

Can we start with how good this palette smells! Too faced makes all their powders with cocoa powder and it smells amazing!

This pallet has everything you would need so its great for travel. The light cocoa shade is great for setting under eye concealer. It leaves that area looking bright and awake. The medium cocoa is amazing for contouring. Its the perfect grey undertone to create shadows and get that chiseled Kim Kardashian look. Next is the dark cocoa shade which makes a great bronzer shade. Its not too orange where I look like I work in Willy Wonka’s factory and its not too dark.  I can’t wait to use it a ton in the summer. The last shade which is the pop of light is not my  favorite. Its a pinky highlight shade but when it swathes the payoff is mostly glitter. I expected this to happen because its what I saw in most of the reviews. Its not ideal, but it can be workable. It all depends on how you like your highlight to look. I think its going to be great for festival season when looking like a fairy princess is acceptable.

All the colors blend very easily and are long wearing. If you are looking to spend a little extra money on a contour palette, I highly recommend this one! This product is sold out on Sephora and Ulta, so if you see it pick it up! I also just picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, so if you want to see a makeup look or a review, let me know in the comments!

Lets share our love for makeup in the comments! What are your favorite products for contouring and highlighting?

Thanks for reading
